DTA Futures is more than a baseball program…

… it’s a modern athlete development system for those who want professional instruction, competitive growth, and schedule flexibility — without the overwhelming time and financial commitment of traditional travel ball.

Founded in 2014, the program was created to bridge the gap between seasonal rec leagues and the intensity of travel ball — offering a smarter, more balanced pathway for serious athletes ages 9u–14u.

And with a 40%+ lower annual cost than most year-round travel programs — without sacrificing quality — DTA Futures delivers premium development and unmatched value.

Local Leagues

We believe in strengthening community baseball—not replacing it. We support the leagues by prepping the players throughout the fall & winter and then encouraging them to participate in their local spring league. This helps players grow their skills while still competing alongside their friends and neighbors.

Train Smarter,
Not Harder

From February to June, we shift the program to a skills specific training membership that provides players the ability to receive professional instruction in a small group setting at a fraction of the price of a private lesson. Families can build a schedule that works for them, with access to up to 3 weekly, 1 hour classes per player.

We Built Futures Around What Matters Most: R.E.I.

Relationship:

We believe that the relationship between the player and coach/manager is a major contributor for growing or crushing a player’s love for the game. Our staff strive to establish a meaningful and personal relationship with each individual player that is based on love, support and sacrifice.

Environment:

We believe that the environment is a major contributor for growing or crushing a player’s love for the game. We strive to implement an environment free from the fear of “judgement.” Players don’t fear failure; we fear the judgement (both internal and external) that follows the failure of execution or lack of accomplishment.

Information:

We believe outdated information & training philosophies, or even relevant information provided to a player who lacks the ability to understand, or implement are both major contributors stunting a player’s development and love for the game. In our system, the relationships are created, the freedom from judgement-based environment has been established, now and only now will the information (molded by professional developers and delivered by professional instructors) penetrate and be received by the individual player at the pace of understanding of how to implement.

  • 10% discount on all DTA Camps

September – December: Skill training development, On Field Practices & Fall League Games

January: Skill training development, & live pitcher vs hitter at bats to prep for season & league tryouts

$249/month player fee September – January
Card on file will be charged on the 5th of the month beginning September 5th (late adds will be charged on 1st day of participation)

  • Pro Skills Team Training w/DTA instructors: 1.5hr time block per week
    • May incorporate performance training periodically through the season
  • 1x/week, 1.5hr team field practice w/ DTA instructor/Futures team coach
  • (4hrs) Skills Specific Small Group training classes (players choice) – RETAIL $149/month
  • 1 game per weekend in SB Pony Fall League (Early September – Mid November)
  • (2) 30 min 1-1 lesson with DTA instructor (must be used September – December)
  • (1) MLBU Assessment
  • High Tech Hitting Membership (open facilities use)
  • MLBU passive data capture during team training sessions periodically throughout the season

DTA Futures Small Group Skill Specific Training Membership

We support our players local spring league practice/game schedules with an offering of weekly small group training classes that supports a family’s need for flexibility and quality extra curricula activities multiple days per week. Players can capitalize on up to three, 1hr classes per week

$199/month player fee February – June
Monthly payment drops automatically from $249/month to $199/month in February. Card on file will be charged on the 5th

  • (12hrs/month) Skills Specific Small Group training classes (players choice per month)
    • Weekly Example: 1hr Hitting Class, 1hr Pitching Class, 1hr Infield Class (3 total classes)
  • (2 total per season) 30 min 1-1 lessons with a DTA instructor (must be used between February & June)
  • 10% – 15% Discount on Marucci, Victus, Baum Bat & Lizard Skins Product
    • Discount percentages fluctuate with availability and popularity of the products
  • (2) MLBU Assessment
  • MLBU passive data capture in training classes

Optional Tournament Play: May & June Only

  • Should DTA staff be able to field a competitive team (at least 12 player) based on player availability, a pickup tournament can be scheduled for those players wanting to play
    • Additional cost of $125/participating player, per event
      • DTA instructor/Futures coaches’ compensation & travel time
      • Tourney entry fee
